Launch Enquiries
When considering the potential of a new launch it is relatively
easy
to assess the price and frequency in relation to the market,
but
much more complex to determine the sales potential. For us to
gauge the potential for newsstand sales, we need as much information
from you as possible at an early stage.
When planning your launch, please bear in mind that the lead
time, from the point at which we decide to work together to
the launch on sale date is usually about 4 months, as it is
an involved process and not something that can happen overnight!
So if you are planning on launching a magazine in the UK or
both in the UK and internationally, please complete our launch
enquiry form.
Once you have completed this form, you should send us a sample
of the product. It does not have to be a final version. A repeater
dummy would be ideal, but it depends if you are planning on
doing dummies for advertisers. A repeater dummy is a mock up
of the magazine in the final paper format and to the right pagination,
but with repeating sections (usually of 8-16 pages of content).
If you cannot easily provide us with a repeater dummy –
and perhaps not at this initial stage – then, at the very
least we need to see a sample front cover (before you’ve
finalised this, so we can suggest changes before it’s
too late!), contents page(s) and a few representative spreads,
together with a bulking dummy (a plain paper dummy put together
by your printer to the required paper weight and pagination).
Once we have the completed form and sample, we will review
the information provided and come back to you with our thoughts
in terms of potential for newsstand sales.
