Who We Are, What We Do

COMAG is one of the largest newsstand distributors in the UK and the largest exporter of English magazines, supplying magazines to over 80 countries around the world.

COMAG was formed in 1977 and is owned by two major magazine publishers, The National Magazine Company and Condé Nast Publications. These major forces in UK publishing produce well-known brands including Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Men’s Health, Glamour, Reveal and GQ.

In the UK we distribute a large range of magazines, partworks and sticker and trading card collections to news retailers, via a network of wholesalers. News retailers range from newsagents and high street stores to convenience stores, supermarkets, petrol forecourts and travel points. Our varied and diverse range of products, including many imported magazines, means that wherever you go to pick up the newspaper or magazine of your choice, many of the products on sale will be distributed by COMAG.

However, we are only responsible for newsstand distribution, so if you have an enquiry related to either a subscription or a back issue, then you will need to contact either the publisher or their subscription agent – these details should be easily found inside the magazine or partwork. Alternatively you can contact us as we may have the relevant contact number for you.

If you do buy your chosen magazine, partwork or collectable from a news retailer and you are having trouble finding the latest issue, we would first of all suggest you talk to your local newsagent about reserving a copy for you. Any newsagent, large or small, should offer this service: in some retailers you will see this promoted with the phrase “Just Ask!” on stickers or posters on display in store. Alternatively, you can contact the distributor, whose details are located within the magazine, alongside publisher contact information.
